What it is for
Why Fusion.
You were going to pay for film, and then for a ceramic coating on top of it. This film puts the water-repellent layer in its own top coat, so the beading is part of the film rather than a coating applied over it. Underneath it is still clear film: it takes the chips, and the paint keeps its colour.

Water on the top coat.
A low-energy surface pulls water into beads instead of letting it sit flat, so it rolls off carrying dirt with it. The effect fades with use and washing, and it comes back with maintenance.

Limits
What it does, and what it doesn’t.
It does
- Beads water and sheets it off, so road film has less to hold on to.
- Takes chips and scuffs the way the clear films do.
- Closes light swirls in the top coat with heat.
It doesn’t
- Stop hail.
- Keep its beading without maintenance. The effect fades and is restored by washing and care.
- Replace a wash. Dirt still has to come off.
